“Next Year In Jerusalem!”
Ah, yes, that old Yiddish blessing (or a sarcastic riff on it at least). Is that what CoG-PKG members are telling one another, now that the 17th is fully and completely out in all of the North American time zones?
Weinland, appropriately enough, has gone to ground. He and the missus definitely do not want to be proselytizing too loudly in the streets of Jerusalem for the next couple of days, otherwise they will be rounded up by the Israeli Health Authority and offered a nice long stay in the premier Kfar Shaul Mental Health Centre.
Given the hints dropped since the “Three More Weeks” sermon on March 29, it is likely that there will not be a Passover service uploaded to the church’s website; it is also possible that there will be no Saturday sermon on the 19th; at least not a live one, nor a long one, for the risk Weinland will be running to be collected by the Israelis. Considering that the Passover service will be pre-recorded when it is uploaded to the church’s website, it could have been recorded weeks ago. The Saturday sermon will be the final proof in the pudding (and could also have been pre-recorded before Weinland and Wife touched down in the holy land).
And what of Weinland’s predictions last Saturday for the Pope?
37:25 – 37:40 RW April 12 Sermon “God’s Love is Coming” “And the one he’s [Satan] going to start influencing in a very powerful way. Starting on April the 17th when the Pope is in Washington DC because that’s when it begins. And that’s when he begins to be influenced highly.“
Sorry, Ronnie, didn’t see any devil-horns sprouting from the Dagon-hat today. I know members are under the impression that something is going to happen when Le Poo-Poo sets foot on Ground Zero, but other than the poor old guy shedding a tear or two (Is it me, or does the current pontiff have asthma?), I highly doubt the Dagon-hat will be sprouting horns then, either. So that’s one “prophecy” down.
1:16:24 RW Sermon March 29 “Three More Weeks:“What if, what if…comes April 17, my life changes dramatically one way or the other because it’s all in. Are we holding back? Are we all running, yet? So what are you going to do some of you who are skeptics and critics and you see these things come to pass? I will tell you what you will do as a whole, you will lie, you will twist, you will distort and you will die – speedily. So, one of us is walking on very dangerous ground…… [about 1:20:00] After April 17, I would fear to be in any of your shoes, truly, truly, truly!”
So I hedged my bets. Spent the day barefoot. No lightning bolts out of the blue. That’s another one down. Your track record ain’t looking so hot right now Ronnie-boy. Nothing has been posted on the church’s website, nor on Weinland’s blog. The church’s email address, email@example.com, has been set to auto-respond to whoever emails it. (Just sent a test email to see what comes back.)
I think it’s safe to say the area elders are going to have their hands full, for the next few days, fielding phone calls and emails from frantic members. That is probably why the minutes of the elders’ meeting on March 29 were not released to the general membership; the elders have probably been briefed, in no uncertain terms, on how to handle the non-events of the day of the sounding of the first trumpet. (45-90 days remember.)
Keep an eye on Shadows of WCG for more frequent updates. Barring anything really newsworthy (and my Inbox is always open at firstname.lastname@example.org), I have said all I needed to say, with regards to Weinland’s “accuracy”. Or mind-numbing lack thereof.
