Weinland’s Predictions To Date

Let us examine Ronald Weinland’s predictions to date. All of the quotes provided are Weinland’s own words, taken from his books, his sermons, his blog posts, and in one case, Evangelist Wayne Matthews’ letter to a former follower of the church:

  • “The world will be shocked and in horror on the day the seventh seal is opened.” [pp. 23, 2008: God’s Final Witness]
  • 1:09:55 – 1:10:04 RW March 22 Sermon: “Just like what we believed that just last week here. Oh last week? 18th.” [someone laughs] “Yeah. The seventh seal was opened. Some, some write in the emails and say, Oh, nothing happened!” [Weinland makes mocking voice and there is laughter] “You know? Well you know? Did I say anything was going to happen on the 18th? It’s a spiritual thing. I thought I made that abundantly clear. But God made it quite clear through what he was giving…….”
  • Before the Seventh (and final) Seal is opened, the Seven Thunders will become so pronounced that the validity of everything written about them in the previous chapter should roar loudly in the ears of anyone who is willing to admit the truth.” [pp. 115, 2008: God’s Final Witness]
  • “1290: The Seventh Seal is opened and the Seven Thunders intensify particularly in the nations of Israel for the purpose of awakening spiritual Israel – the Church of God that was scattered.” [Letter from Wayne Matthews, March 18th]
  • “This first powerful event of the Seventh Seal will result in wide-spread destruction over the United States and beyond her border into Canada. The destruction in Canada will be less, but she will experience repercussions from what will happen in the U.S.; because she is a neighbor, as well as a prophetic brother.” [pp. 115 – 118, 2008: God’s Final Witness]
  • 1:53:20 “Three More Weeks” RW March 29 sermon: If by Pentecost I’m just going to make this real clear to everyone. If by Pentecost it is not powerfully and abundantly clear that there has been a great deal of destruction that will clearly encompass a third of all plant life in the US and at least the clear results of this mingled with blood the death of very much animal life and the beginning of large numbers of human life then I will stop preaching. Just so all the critics and everyone out there will understand. I am true to my word in these things. OK? And for all the critics if by the end of July and for most likely around Pentecost if nothing has clearly caused great destruction and death I will make it very clear that I was a false prophet. I will do exactly what I said I would do on aaaaall those interviews that I have held. To do less. Well. Would be quite insane.”
  • “Well the first time they will [blame the burning up of the plants and grass on global warming] but when uh nuclear weapons go off they can’t blame that on uh global warming. During this first stage the forty-five days to ninety days that’s exactly what people will do. You’re exactly right . But after that period of time it’s going to it’s going to change dramatically as things of terrorism begin to take place in this country because we have four trumpets that are going to take place here over six months to a year’s period of time and as they take place it’s going to bring this, the United States here to demise.” [Mike McConnell Show, April 5, 2008]
  • We will be in Jerusalem on April 17th which is the day the First Trumpet of the Seventh Seal sounds. The process of all that will occur, with the sounding of the First Trumpet, will begin on April 17th and continue to increase in destructive power (consequences) for the following seven weeks. The Second Trumpet will not sound until after the Day of Pentecost. This does not mean it is near that date, but it means it cannot happen until after that day.[Ronald Weinland Blog Post, April 11, 2008]
  • 37:25 – 37:40 RW April 12 Sermon “God’s Love is Coming”: “And the one he’s [Satan] going to start influencing in a very powerful way. Starting on April the 17th when the Pope is in Washington DC because that’s when it begins. And that’s when he begins to be influenced highly.”

  1. I would like to add, these are but a few of the many, many times RW spoke on radio concerning “specific” events that would occur in 2008. Especially from Feb-April, but yet, they have not occured. No nuclear weapons have gone off over “several US cities”, no massive fall of the dollar, no collapse of the stock market, etc. etc. NOW, he tries to change his predictions for another “45-90 days” to buy more time for something, anything to happen to give him an event to point to and say “see, I told you.” WHAT A FRAUD!

What happen to those “mid-April” explosions? What happen to the dollar becoming “worthless in April”? What happen to the February earth shaking event of the 7th seal opening? What happened on April 17th????? Nada, zilch, zero! BUT, RW continues to spout his propaganda and claims if you reject and mock him, you are mocking God. C’mon! Get real. This is soooooo classic. Cease the alomost begging for us to believe you and either DO something with your new great power, or PLEASE seek professional psychiatric help. YOU ARE HURTING PEOPLE……..AND YOURSELF.

  2. I actually have not listened to a great deal of the radio interviews; as they are posted on Weinland’s personal site, I am leery of them having been edited or tampered with, the way so many of the sermons are, after the fact.

  3. Hi guy’s
Did I also read somewhere that the Pope would reveal yesterday that he is the Antichrist? according to Mr Weinland?

  4. No, that is not what Weinland said would happen on April 17th; as per the last item on the list, above, Weinland claimed that on April 17th, the Pope would begin to be powerfully influenced by Satan.

I must have missed that part of all the media coverage. I do not believe the RCC pontiff demonstrated ANY behaviour on April 17th that could be construed, in any way at all, as the beginnings of powerful Satanic influence.

  5. Just in case anyone was wondering, Shadows of WCG posted a recap of the RCC pontiff’s message on 17th April. The highlights? “Love, faith, hope, and the Golden Rule.”

Would any of Weinland’s followers like to elucidate which part of the message demonstrates quite clearly how he has begun to be influenced very powerfully, highly so, by Satan?

  6. They can’t.. They know it didn’t happen. Not one could give an answer. Not even Ron.
Unless they only have the ears.

  8. what does a false prophet do after something like this? i mean, he could never work for any xcg split again now that he has told them that all their ministers would die.

what kind of God exists that doesn’t speak MIGHTILY like RW predicted? there’s no reason God needs RW to interpret for him. excuse me, RW, i think God can speak for himself thank you very much.

according to his website, RW should be back in the u.s. now. of course, that must have been a VERY long plane ride with lots of time to contemplate his next move. i doubt he will ever go back on the radio for interviews again.

everything he has prophesied to happen to date has been wrong, wrong, wrong. if/when the two witnesses ever come on the scene, i don’t think either of them will be haughty enough to claim to be one.

  9. I thought i read some where on the blogs that who ever has left the “Weinland church” are the anti-christ. Does anyone know where it is or did i read it wrong.,
Can you help me out here? thanks I just want to know if i am one of the anti-christ.
    What ever that means.

  10. The church’s definition of anti-christ is as follows:

“In short, anti-Christ means someone who was in Gods true church, had the truth of God dwelling/living in them by the power of God’s Holy Spirit and then chose to reject God’s way of life. They are “anti-Christ” because they will not allow Christ to live/dwell in them. Anti-Christ is not one person, nor does this refer to the Pope.”

Since there is no such thing as “god’s true church”, you have not rejected “god’s way of life”, therefore, you are not one of the anti-christ. In my opinion, and I am certain in your opinion as well.

The opinion of church members who are still believers will be different, but that is only because they are still indoctrinated with the church’s milieu control and fear-mongering scenarios. Even though this is shaping up to be the quietest Great Tribulation on record.

  12. But to be fair, as Weinland tried to convince “those with ears” on Saturday, the fact that nothing happened is the point—in other words, he spiritualized everything away—including the death, destruction, and drought, that was supposed to have noticeably begun last Thursday.

  15. Did you know (what i heard from someone in pkg) there was thunder beside spiritual. 2 earthquakes on the 18th and the member(s) heard it loud and clear. More of a taste which is soon coming. The person read into it more than what we know, but wouldn’t tell me. Only God’s church would understand anyway. I only ask her becuase i was hoping to understand what she heard, but NO i am not with it. Not cool i guess. My sis would not give me anymore than that and said she would not discuss it with me any further. She thinks i am a mocker. I am?????
I really just want to help her i thought.(to have her see it didn’t happen but she won’t believe me) I hate to say this becuase i love my sis so much it hurts, but she may have ears but her brain is mush right now with Ron’s thoughts.

  16. I have repeated this in several other places, but I will repeat it here again:

Weinland’s Failed Prophecies: The Second Thunder Mike, from Don’t Drink the Flavor Aid, has a graph of US Geological Survey Data that proves earthquakes are NOT increasing in intensity and/or frequency, DESPITE what church members are saying.

The Earthquake Was NOT a Thunder “J” over at Shadows of WCG, who appears to be a bit of a meterology buff, informs us that the earthquakes are not “new” nor are they at all unusual, given the Hazard (fault-line) and historical data available for those parts of the US.

Those who have ears also need eyes, and brains, to try and refute this kind of scientific data.

    weinlandwatch

    April 22, 2008 at 10:09 pm

  17. Oh, and the second earthquake was only a 4.2. You would get a stronger vibration from a passing train. That would harly, in my opinion, fall under the category of a “thunder that is so pronounced, [people] will be unable to deny their validity”.

Any member who is trying to use the extremely slight tremors that are occurring, during earthquake season, along previously-mapped faultlines that historically have displayed similar activity, is really, extremely, grasping at straws. In my opinion.

BUT, let us entertain the delusion for a moment. All right, these two minor tremors fulfill the totality and tremendousness of the second thunder. As implausible as it is, let us go with that, for the moment.

What then, of the Fifth Thunder? Mike from Don’t Drink the Flavor Aid, points out that the death of many Church of God ministers, including Rod Meredith, have not taken place. How do we know this? Every one of the ministers who was supposed to have died by now, have given sermons, between 17th April and today.

So why has the fifth thunder remained unfulfilled?

  18. EXACTLY ww. But we could tell them over and over and have proof but it is like talking to a wall.
It is very frustrating that the members can’t understand that. I know they look for every little thing. I mean every little thing. I have heard it over and over. I would just roll my eyes and bite my tonque with family. But now i have proof and they still don’t buy it. They are in a DEEP sleep….
It has been said Satan has a strong hold on people on earth. This is proof..

  19. Ron has 90 days (well now 85 days according to the countdown clock on my blog) to spin the story to explain the lack of nuclear explosions. Or nukular ones.

In the meantime, there will be a drought somewhere and that will be transformed into dying of 1/3 of the vegetation.

Despite what “W” posted on the IW forum, wRonG Ron will be entertaining demons well after Labor Day.

  20. Not if the Three Stooges are getting sick of being in silent film, and want to increase their air-time, he won’t be.

There’s a coup in the offing, I can just smell it.

  21. Just thinking back to Rod and Global about 10 years ago. His stooges tried to stage a coup. Rod said fine, you can have the corporation and all of its debts, and left to form Living with the vast majority of the members following.

I suspect that wRonG Ron doesn’t even have a dummy board that could rise up and take the bank account away from him. So the issue is what all of the sheep think. And as x-cog-pkg indicates, the sheep are willing to stay and be shorn some more.

    Ekimks

    April 23, 2008 at 12:56 am

  22. Yes, but X-CoG-PKG’s presence indicates that the sheep are leaving; it may only be a trickle, but even a trickle is better than none. Information I have recently received suggests the attrition rate for CoG-PKG, which is not given in the announcements, is between one and four members weekly.

    weinlandwatch

    April 23, 2008 at 1:02 am

  23. Let’s hope the trickle turns into a gusher. And that x-cog-pkg’s family wakes up, smells the coffee, and votes with their feet as well.

But I don’t think that a coup would work right now.

    Ekimks

    April 23, 2008 at 1:26 am

  24. Why not? If Weinland really has gone completely round the twist, now would be the best time for the Three Stooges to strike. Tactically speaking, now would be the ideal time for them to plan something like this, what with Weinland off in la-la-land doing the “witnessy” thing.

I too hope that all of this information helps the few diehards hanging on to see their church for what it is.

  25. We’ve all known for some time that wRonG is a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Through it all he’s still managed to maintain a firm grip on his pulpit, even when 8 timezones away.

This demon would be happy to give up the entertainment, and for the sake of his followers I hope you’re right. In the meantime, putting out the information could help those few willing to pull the wool from over their eyes (which wRonG hasn’t shorn yet.)

  27. The Bible clearly says that NO MAN will predict the end of the world. This man apparently thinks he is better than all, and surpasses God as he is claiming to know when the end is coming. Supposedly, beginning on Feb 2, 2008, we had 1335 days left. Well at least we know when that day comes that we will all still be here! 😛

  29. “You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars…”
“At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another.”
“…Then if anyone says to you, “Behold, here is the Christ,” or “There He is,” do not believe him.”
“…But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”
    Matthew 24:6,10,23, & 36

Has Weinland ever explained at what point he realized he was appointed a prophet by God?

God told him to write the first book in 2003 i believe around the Feast and that is when he proclaimed the prophet thing. The first book didn’t get published until 2004, It was so exciting for everyone. YIPEEEEEEEE

  33. No responses after Myanmar or China? Reading this topic I thought for sure there’d be some back in here discussing it.

Kind of thought there’d be something, bin Laden also vowed recently to bomb the U.S. right after the 60th b-day for Isreal.

Is this guy right? I don’t know – but we’re certainly due for another doomsday tale – and RW has said if nothing happens at the end of 90 days he’d admit false prophet and go away.

Nevermind the Bilderberg tales. There’s certainly a unquie combination of things happening now in the world. Interesting.
