  1. I just want to tell you ALL how much you guys have done for me (and my sister) over the past couple weeks. Your tireless efforts to bring the truth to light is really appreciated. And to do it with such humor (mixed in with anger) is also a bonus. We both grew up in “the church” (guess which one! ha) and have had our issues with leaving all this CRAP behind. This Weinland thing has really awakened some feelings that I didn’t know still existed and without all of you here, I may have been sucked back in. I can’t imagine it, and don’t want to.

You (weinland watch) even took the time to comment on my blog (I linked your site) and that was also appreciated. You guys really do care about the “scattered brethren” (gag) but in a REAL way. Keep up the good work exposing the truth. It’s also nice to know that we’re not the only “freaks”.

And may I say that the use of the song “Claire De Lune” on this video thing is brilliant. BRILLIANT!!!! I still remember Herbie playing his fancy grand piano with fancy fountains and lighting behind him to that song. ew.

  2. If it makes you feel better I don’t think it was Herbie playing in the video. πŸ˜‰

You’re right about how being born and raised in “the church” leaves a lot of land-mines where they are least expected. That’s what got me into doing this blog in the first place.

It seems almost as though, in the last year or so, “the lost generation” of 2nd-gen’rs from the church has finally started to stand up and re-examine our pasts, what happened, and why. Having the anonymity of the Internet certainly helps too!

    Thanks for the link!

  3. Judging by the timing, it looks like Weinland timed his trip to the Middle East to co-incide with Israel’s military exercises last week. Those exercises were (supposedly) intended to be a practice run for a long range air attack on a nearby country (code for “Iran”). The goal would be a pre-emptive nuclear strike against Iranian nuclear installations. It conducted, these would be the first aggressive use of nuclear weapons since the attacks on Japan in 1945 by the US.

Meantime, the oil price is heading for the stratosphere due to “market uncertainty about supply”.

Yesterday, Israel started back-pedaling on the aggressive rhetoric toward Iran, saying that it was better for Israel to say nothing about Iran. Either the exercises went well and thye are laying low for a strike on Iran, or they went badly and Israel needs more time, or other countries asked Israel if they really had shit for brains and were they seriously considering a nuclear attack on Iran…and told them to back off.

Israel now says it is part of an international effort that should see Iran comply with requests to not make explodable nukes. Given this has been Iran’s position from Day One, that may not be too hard.

So Iran wasn’t attacked and Israel is softening and we may yet see lower oil prices if the refiners in US will allow production to go ahead. Apparently they had stopped (scheduled and unscheduled) a chunk of production heading into Winter (eh???) because rising oil prices was putting a crimp in their profits. “They”…sound like a cartel extracting cash from US consumers.

Nothing to do with Ron directly, but the need to drop oil prices before the elections later this year has likely taken the heat out of the situation in the Middle East- at least as it pertains to oil prices and production……as it does every US election.

    Bad timing, Ron.

  4. I think the concrete date-setting is proving to be the worst timing of all.

I still get a chuckle out of Weinland’s hysteria over the Pope being powerfully influenced by Satan on April 17th turned out to be a heart-warming speech on faith, love, (if you ignore the anti-choice and homophobic bits) and exemplifying the Golden Rule. One publicly-posting church member even admits to not seeing any change at all in the Pope, and Weinland claimed in his sermon of the 19th that it was going to be ONLY church members who would see the change.

Weinland’s track record is getting worse and worse, and this is shaping up to be the quietest Great Tribulation on record!

  5. Good job on video. ALL FACTS. ALL TRUE.

  6. Since bearing false wittness and being a false prophet are severe, according to RW’s on bible, he should be stoned to death. But hey, maybe he’s been stoned this whole time…..lol

    April 23, 2008 at 10:02 pm

  7. if nothing happens by pentecost, this is what ron will say

god chose not to end the world because people did not repent.

    April 23, 2008 at 10:44 pm

  8. “The bride of Christ wasn’t ready”? Hmmmm, where have we heard that before? πŸ˜›

    April 23, 2008 at 10:46 pm

  9. Thanks so much for the kind words.

I do care. That’s why I put the time and effort into doing what I’m doing. At this point, I dont give two cents about Weinland. He’s now in the hands of God and will face certain judgement from Him for fraudulently representing God. My responsibility, and my compassion, is for those who have been spiritually harmed by the spiritual irrationality of this false prophet. I can already see fruits happening, and am so thankful that it has reached out and impacted some people. I’m grateful the video has helped.

I may take a Christian position, WW takes an agnostic position, and there are other excellent bloggers with diverse beliefs. But we all can see dung when we can see dung. And this whole thing has been nothing but dung. It’s been sad, really sad, to watch this kind of stuff unfold. But it’s great to see people come to their senses and see this stuff for what it really is. And that’s where the common bond is. Again, I’m thankful this has helped. Keep carrying on.

  10. Well said J!

    April 23, 2008 at 11:29 pm

  11. Hey WW, you stated that the Popes final statements in the USA were, “heart-warming speech on faith, love” except for his Pro-Life stance? Are you saying that recognizing and respecting human life from the moment that humans come into existance is not a “heart-warming speech on faith, love”? Have I misunderstood this??

    April 24, 2008 at 2:45 am

  12. You haven’t misunderstood at all. πŸ˜‰

    April 24, 2008 at 5:30 pm

  13. in RW’s mind, calling good evil and evil good is a matter of course. since he doesn’t understand Jesus Christ, he will never listen to anyone talking about Jesus, except for his own thoughts and the teachings of the false prophet HWA.

    April 24, 2008 at 7:39 pm

  14. I dunno, even a member of Weinland’s own church acknowledged that they didn’t see any change in the RCC pontiff on the 17th April. Now, based on the sermon on the 19th, seeing nothing was the point (i.e., it was all spiritualized away again), but church members were supposed to be able to see the signs themselves. I have yet to have a member of the CoG-PKG tell me clearly, what sign was given April 17th, that the RCC pontiff had begun to be influenced, “very powerfully so”, by Satan.

    April 24, 2008 at 7:42 pm

  15. Um, did you see the popes hat? That HAD to be the work of demons.

And the popemobile??? More like demonmobile.

    April 24, 2008 at 10:19 pm

  16. I hope I haven’t offended any catholics on here. I am really making fun of cog’s obsession with demons- as if that wasn’t obvious. I also have a habit of explaining jokes when it’s unnecessary.

    April 24, 2008 at 10:20 pm

  17. LOL I keep telling people: Le Poo-Poo exemplifying the Golden Rule? That just has to be a sign of Satanic possession! πŸ˜‰

    April 24, 2008 at 10:23 pm

  18. Valid points about the thunders… I was always wondering about the “famous” people that would die to be a sign of one of the thunders. But to be clear and still leave some credibility(what little he has)… is he tried to make clear that April 17 was significant, but not significant in a worldly view(best way i can put it) Ronald said the second trumpet will sound after the day of Pentecost, which this year falls on May 11. He makes a point to say that the 2 trumpet will not necessarily sound on or around that day, but it won’t sound before that day. So… we should see some hail and blood and 1/3 of the earth vegitation burned up from the first trumpet by May 11, 2008 or at least a sign of it.

    April 29, 2008 at 8:29 pm

  19. If by Pentecost it is not powerfully and abundantly clear that there has been a great deal of destruction that will clearly encompass a third of all plant life in the US and at least the clear results of this mingled with blood the death of very much animal life and the beginning of large numbers of human life then I will stop preaching. Just so all the critics and everyone out there will understand. I am true to my word in these things. OK? And for all the critics if by the end of July and most likely around Pentecost if nothing has clearly caused great destruction and death I will make it very clear that I was a false prophet. I will do exactly what I said I would do on aaaaall those interviews that I have held. To do less. Well. Would be quite insane.”

    April 29, 2008 at 8:37 pm

  20. Also want to add, for those not familiar with Church of God systems, Pentecost by PKG’s calendrical system will fall on June 8, which is(was) the cut-off date for most of Weinland’s public supporters.

    April 29, 2008 at 8:38 pm

  21. Thanks for the correction… it appears May 11 is for the Catholics pentecost. http://catholicism.about.com/od/holydaysandholidays/f/2008_Pentecost.htm
