The Wisdom of Solomon:

  • 17:8 For they, that promised to drive away terrors and troubles from a sick soul,
were sick themselves of fear, worthy to be laughed at.
  • 17:10 They died for fear, denying that they saw the air, which could of no side
    be avoided.
  • 17:11 For Wickedness, condemned by Her own witness, is very timorous, and being
pressed with conscience, always forecasteth grievous things.
  • 17:12 For fear is nothing else but a betraying of the succours which reason
  • 17:20 For the whole world shined with clear light, and none were hindered in
    their labour:
  • 17:21 Over them only was spread an heavy night, an image of that darkness which
    should afterward receive them:
but yet were they unto themselves more grievous
    than the darkness.
  • As the Gospel of Thomas repeats almost to the point of being nauseating: “He who has ears to hear had better listen!”

1:53:20 “Three More Weeks” RW March 29, 2008 sermon:If by Pentecost [June 8 2008] I’m just going to make this real clear to everyone. If by Pentecost [June 8, 2008] it is not powerfully and abundantly clear that there has been a great deal of destruction that will clearly encompass a third of all plant life in the US and at least the clear results of this mingled with blood the death of very much animal life and the beginning of large numbers of human life then I will stop preaching. Just so all the critics and everyone out there will understand. I am true to my word in these things. OK? And for all the critics if by the end of July and for most likely around Pentecost if nothing has clearly caused great destruction and death I will make it very clear that I was a false prophet. I will do exactly what I said I would do on aaaaall those interviews that I have held. To do less. Well. Would be quite insane.”

Looks like ILFPRW is living up to the IL part of his nickname. Even Daniel Ott thinks so. Who is Daniel Ott, you ask? Those who don’t remember their history are doomed to repeat it, as the plaque inside The Peoples’ Temple said.

The EDGE AM “Ron Weinland Reprise”

Thanks to an anonymous commenter at Don’t Drink the Flavor Aid who transcripted the relevant quote from the show that Ott was responding to, above:

DO: “Ron, will you come on the Edge in December 2008 and explain why your prohecies have not been fulfilled?”

RW: “Well, let’s put it this way, if we come to a point in time where what I said doesn’t take place, the reality is that I’m just a false prophet, because that’s the bottom line, and that’s it. Uh, there’d be no other answer. I [unintelligble] cannot say that. There would be absolutely no other answer. I know that other religious people do when they say a certain time, if you want to look at Ellen White, if you want to go back and look at different time, and different people in history, the people who made prophecies, religious people and so forth, and they haven’t come to pass, well, they give all these reasons why, uh, it’s gonna happen in five more years, we were, God’s led us to understand that, and so they go on from one point to another point to another point until they die. The reality is if it doesn’t happen, then you’re just false. There’s nothing else to say, what else could I say?”

DO: “To reword that question is, will you come back on the program and so that the people can, who have been emailing in the show questions, can applaud you for your accuracy? I think that would probably be more to what you would want to…”

RW:Oh, ha ha, I’ll go on any of your programs… Either way, I’ll come on… I’ll acknowledge my error, my wrong, if I’m wrong. I know I’m not wrong, but, you know, this is not a small thing that God gives you something to do. Can you imagine Noah building an ark for 100 years and someone coming out there mocking him on dry land.

Looks pretty dry to me, Weinland.

    Anybody got a match?

Information for new or prospective members thinking about joining the Church of God, Preparing for the Kingdom of God.

I know you have been told the timeline of when the seventh seal will be opened, when the trumpets are going to blow, and when Armageddon’s finally going to be over, but you need to know that the church has been down this road before.

As you can tell from the screen capture of the church’s website (the dates on the church’s FAQ page have now been changed), the original timeline the church held fast to was as follows [all emphasis my own]:

1335 Days: The sealing of the 144,000 that will make up the Government of God at Christ’s return in 2011 took place on the 2nd of February, 2008, and 45 days later we arrived at 1290 days.

1290 Days: The Seventh Seal was opened on the 18th of March, 2008, which signified an end to the abomination of desolation that has been working in God’s Church. This marked the beginning of an awakening for spiritual Israel – the final remnant of the Church of God that was scattered (those baptized before December 1994 – approximately 3000), and will continue right up until the return of Jesus Christ, 30 days later we arrived at 1260 days.

1260 Days: The blowing of the first Trumpet will occur/occurred on the 17th of April, 2008. This is the beginning of the Great Tribulation and 3 1/2 years until the return of Jesus Christ. The beginning of the fall of the USA and other Israelite countries begins from the start of the 1260 Days. God will reveal this period of time for the first Four Trumpets of 6 ro 12 months. God will reveal this information to His two end-time prophets (and two end-time witnesses) whose job began on this same date.

The only way a person can understand this timeline is by revelation given by God. The Church of God knows the date of Jesus Christ’s return because of the timing of the opening of the seals and the revealed truth contained in the annual Holy Days.

    Time Well Spent

Updated July 27: If all of the hours of sermons I have sat through in my life were replaced by these two hours of video, I would be miles ahead in my journey out of the church. Perhaps your friend or family member may be as well. Take note of the contact information posted at the end of the first video please.

    Video 2

Here are the resources posted at the end of both videos:

Please note that WeinlandWatch does not endorse ANY form of counseling, psychology, psychiatry, nor do I personally endorse any of the counselors listed below. This is a list of the resources posted at the end of the two videos. Before seeking any kind of outside help, I highly recommend you read this book before you make any decisions. Quick Question…….

    Updated July 27th.

…….If we’re in the midst of the Great Tribulation or even if we aren’t, correct me if I’m wrong: The Witless Weinlands are supposed to be dead on the streets of Jerusalem in three years, give or take, depending on how many times Weinland reboots his timeline. Let us also leave aside the quibbling detail that he said on the James Whale show le Poopoo was gonna kill them, but in Prophesied End-Time it was “the European military supercomplex” that was gonna do the deed.

My question is this. If they’re going to be murdered for being the two witnesses from the book of revelation (clothed in sackcloth and humility I add), the question is clear:

Why do they live like THIS? (Be sure to click both links.)

The story has hit Ambassador Watch now. Notably, the administrator of AW must not be aware that Weinland’s elders have to pay tithes too. As a matter of fact, the only people on HTFS’ payroll (“Celestial Accounting and Kingdom Logistics, 24/7!” ??) are most likely Weinland himself, Wayne Matthews, Johnny Harrell, possibly Terry Wrozek, Audra and Jeremy Weinland (the kids — got to keep the tax advantages all in the family, after all), and perhaps one other accountant/tech.

Out of a congregation of about three hundred, that means five people (at most) benefitting from over 30% of the income of around three hundred.

Would Ms. Samantha Kinsley Please Identify Her Affiliation With PKG?

Suspicious activity on the blogosphere that a group of us have been monitoring for some time has now come to a head.

This was the first blog that caught our notice. It mentions that GFW was “assigned reading” for some manner of college class. Questioning the blogger about the origins of the assignment, and the reasons for same, garnered no answer. Subsequent to this, other references to “the assignment” were found, to wit:

Information on the class in question here:

(ACC_X is the source of the course that might be in the process of being utilized to recruit students.)

Samantha Kinsley is the teacher in question who assigned her students the reading of Weinland’s recruiting material for PKG. Interesting to note that the class started on the 7th of June, well after Weinland’s reboot of the timeline that failed (beginning with the sealing of 144,000 that took place on Feb 2, 2008, culminating with the non-existent 1st and 2nd trumpets on April 17, 2008 and Pentecost June 8, 2008, respectively), and the fact that the books do not mention dates are a considerable advantage to draw in new recruits.

Ms Kinsley is an animal rescue aficionado as evidenced by her blog. Hearsay from months past suggest the Weinlands gifted an elder’s family with a very expensive pet dog, likely similar to the one seen on Audra Weinland’s MySpace page.

If Kinsley is in fact a member of the church, and is recruiting underaged teens or young adults through her “Humanity 422” class at a Brooklyn NY trade institute, one wonders if she is doing so under the auspices of John Giannotta, the elder for the church currently residing in Red Hook? (Giannotta would first have had to clear it through Weinland — by all accounts, Weinland micro-manages the administration of church affairs very closely.)

Or, is Kinsley instead acting on her own initiative, without clearing it through Giannotta first?  If so, she is risking a lot of undue attention, and possible disfellowshipment by the church, for such a risky maneuver in “spreading the gospel”.

If Kinsley is acting under the aegis of Giannotta, is this then a sign that the elders are trying to replace a rapidly-dwindling membership, thanks to the failed timeline? As the books mention no dates, they are still effective recruiting tools for this closed high-demand religious group, as evidenced by Weinland’s effortless reboot of the timeline, when his first “prophecy” (The 1335 days of Daniel 12 began on Feb. 2, 2008.) failed to pan out.

Questions remain, but one thing is certain: If this book was indeed “assigned” by a church member, whether or not it was under the aegis of Giannotta, it can mean only one thing.

The church is still targeting children.

Liturgy for Those Who Have the Eyes to See

The Wisdom of Jesus of Sirach:

    • 2:29 Be not an hypocrite in the sight of men, and take good heed what thou
    • 2:30 Exalt not thyself, lest thou fall, and bring dishonour upon thy soul, and
so God discover thy secrets, and cast thee down in the midst of the
because thou camest not in truth to the fear of the Lord, but thy
      heart is full of deceit.
    • 3:25 Without eyes thou shalt want light: profess not the knowledge therefore
      that thou hast not.
    • 3:28 In the punishment of the proud there is no remedy; for the plant of
wickedness hath taken root in him.
    • 4:1 My son, defraud not the poor of his living, and make not the needy eyes to
      wait long.
    • 4:11 Wisdom exalteth Her children, and layeth hold of them that seek Her.
    • 4:22 Accept no person against thy soul, and let not the reverence of any man
      cause thee to fall.
    • 4:27 Make not thyself an underling to a foolish man; neither accept the person
      of the mighty.
    • 14:20 Blessed is the man that doth meditate good things in Wisdom, and that
reasoneth of holy things by his understanding.
    • 15:7 But foolish men shall not attain unto Her, and sinners shall not see Her.
    • 15:8 For She is far from pride, and men that are liars cannot remember Her.

    The Book of Baruch

    • 3:12 Thou hast forsaken the fountain of Wisdom.
    • 3:13 For if thou hadst walked in the way of God, thou shouldest have dwelled in
      peace for ever.
    • 3:14 Learn where is Wisdom, where is strength, where is understanding; that thou
mayest know also where is length of days, and life, where is the light of the
      eyes, and peace.

    The Wisdom of Solomon

    • 6:12 Wisdom is glorious, and never fadeth away: yea, She is easily seen of them
that love Her, and found of such as seek Her.
    • 7:6 For all men have one entrance into life, and the like going out.
    • 9:6 For though a man be never so perfect among the children of men, yet if thy
Wisdom be not with him, he shall be nothing regarded.
    • 10:8 For regarding not Wisdom, they gat not only this hurt, that they knew not
      the things which were good
; but also left behind them to the world a memorial of
      their foolishness:
so that in the things wherein they offended they could not so
      much as be hid
    • 10:9 But Wisdom delivered from pain those that attended upon Her.
